OLE'S 1ST AND ONLY OPTION WAS SURGERY - I think the vets here lack experinces on complex cases and i would not recommend. Went here as the vet from another clinic referred Ole for a lateral xray due to abdominal pain. We were surprised to find out that our puppy has ingested some twister ties (wires). The doctor immediately recommended intestinal surgery. When we asked if that was the only option, he said yes and it was an emergecy case. We were a bit hesitant given our pup was only 4 mos old so we asked what are the risks and percentage of recovery. The doctor could not give us a straight answer,  that added to our hesitation. The doctor then gave us an estimate of the cost (amounting to roughly 30K - procedure, meds and aprox 7 days boarding + additonal expenses). Though the cost was high, our main concern was for the safety of our pup and if we will allow her to undergo a risky procedure. We left the place, paid 500 for the consultation and 1K for the xray and said we neeto talk about our options I then consulted a fried who was a vet in the province and he said to get a 2nd opinion as Ole only did one view of an xray should have done 1-2 more views to further assess before recomending a surgery. We went to another known hospital and the vet did exactly what my friend has said a vet should do plus a couple more. After 30 mins, the vet said based on the additonal xray view and blood test, there is a high chance it will come out as the objects were moving and said surgery should be the last option if further observation indicates risk She gave us laxative and said to observe in the next 1-2 days and come back for another xray to monitor. The next day, our pup expelled all the foreign objects and we were relieved that we did not agree with Ole's recomendation.

They follow social distancing measures seriously Drop off and pick up only. No visitations. They'll also talk to you over the phone while you're outside at the waiting area and your pet is being taken care of inside the clinic. 4 stars because I went there with an emergency and they didn't have a catheter available for my cat. They did refer me to a different clinic that did so well.

Has complete facilities and polite staff but I'm giving it 3 stars because they failed to notice the fractured tooth of my cat, never gave him a first aid and never even cleaned him. I needed to ask for a second opinion after they said my furbaby is overall normal but overlooked his main concern which was his bleeding mouth after falling off of the building.
