Pet Stop Veterinary Clinic / Grooming

Update: my view on this has changed drastically after consulting with them over the last 2 months. I noticed that as my dog's case grew complex/progressed it became difficult to get the support required to get him started on the path towards recovery. My observations are as follows: 1. The vet gave up on him too soon eventhough he is still with us as of this writing. He is still fighting and hanging on for his dear life. 2. We were never issued receipts for our transactions. The breakdown of expenses/costs were not clearly stated. 3. Even after several tests done, the Vet appeared clueless and confused about my dog's sickness. 4. We got referred to 2 other clinics here in Cavite since this clinic does not have the capacity to do Ultrasound, Xray and Urinalysis. 5. Vet referral/recommendation letter to the 2 other clinics did not clearly state the instructions that the Vet required for the tests. It felt like the Vet depended on me a layman, to fill in the medical gaps. 6. During the previous consultations the Vet did not say anything that should alarm us that this ailment is fatal. But when I went back earlier to get additional supplements, I mentioned to her that my dog was not eating and was lethargic. I was surprised to hear the Vet just say, ay ganyan kasi talaga pag Kidney failure. I am very disappointed and frustrated with how things have turned out. I have had such high hopes (as this Vet was highly recommended by our neighbors) that I now have a clinic that I can trust with my dog's life. I feel like we wasted 2 months worth of chances for him to recover. I learned my lesson now and will now transfer my dog to another clinic. I just hope and pray earnestly that we still have time to help my dog recover. I rated this clinic with 2 stars as the Vet has been responsive to all our inquiries via viber. Plus we had 1 visit wherein I was not asked to pay for consultation fees. I kept the rating at just 2 stars because I felt that the Vet lacked confidence and expertise. If you are planning to visit, I suggest you limit your consultations to non life threatening cases. Otherwise, I advice you proceed with great caution. Only entrust your furbabies/family to Vets who have both empathy and expertise.
