Comparing with other several Savemore branches I'd been to, Concepcion branch had the fewest shoppers anytime of the day as I witnessed in the last 2 years. Social distancing during this pandemic? Go to Savemore and there is a good chance there will only be you shopping.

The management is trying to improve it, and deserves some credit for that. They have location and parking available on site, but what it needs is DIFFERENT offerings than Walmart. Focus on a sale sacrifice in PRICE on electrical goods, like a fan, say sold cheaply to bring people in, and they will buy other items while being there. Bring in some Australian Cheddar cheese, and decent butter, as sales leaders, say perhaps McVites Wheat biscuits, so people like me don't go all the way to SM Mall to get them. Get rid of Twinnings Fruit teas, and stock Orange Pekoe and Irish Breakfast as well as the English Breakfast you have as Twinnings are quality turn over teas. How about stocking Arabica coffee beans with a grinding service, and then stove top expresso machines to capture the local coffee enthusiasts? Tell Lily's Peanut Butter to lay off the sugar in it, as it is a lovely peanut butter, but sickly sweet. Stock Shick quatro razors and blades and at least one good shaving foam. Take a risk and use your imagination...MANAGEMENT!!!
