Holistic Animal Doctors

This clinic is neat compare to other animal clinic and it does not smell like dogs or cats. They have a very kind and informative doctor, and the staff are very helpfull. I brought my dogs here for vaccination and check up and so far my dogs are still alive and kicking thank you to Dra. Alyssa for being so caring and polite, two thumbs up to you doctor. I highly recommend this animal clinic because they will surely take good care to our babies.

If there's a zero star here, that's what i'll give. We had several bad experiences at this clinic (the one near AUF). But this one really topped it all off. My partner went there yesterday to have our dog's blood worked up. The doctor had a very difficult time extractive blood from our dog. He tried multiple times but failed on both front legs, and it was so painful for our dog as she was already crying. The doctor even pulled the plunger 3 times even when he didn't get any blood from the tip of the syringe ("luer lock" -not sure what its called) . This means if he triggered a vein it might have lead to a more horrible story of popping the vein with air. When my partner saw that our dog was already in deep pain, he immediately then told the doctor to stop. He carried our dog and hurridly left the clinic. The other past experience we had was they misdiagniosed our dog of having blood bacteria. What they failed to do was to narrow down what type of blood bacteria to properly treat it. We just found out that we could have had this option of specifying the blood bacteria from a doctor from another clinic. We also found out that it wasn't really necessary to prescribe numerous medicines+antibiotics which the doctor from this clinic did. I want to say more but I want to keep this as objective as possible by stating facts.

I just want to inform you that Mojacko, initially diagnosed with kidney failure, actually has Leptospirosis from the very beginning. After the 7 day treatment at your clinic, diagnosis ranged from bladder stones, AIHA to kidney failure. After informing us that there is no hope in saving him, we took him home. Until then that we got second opinions from other vets. We transferred him the same day to a different hospital after you have informed us that there is no hope in saving him. We got the same results from the two vets and hospital where we brought him. It was Leptospirosis. His condition improved but went quickly downhill since his creatinine stats are too high. This could have been prevented from the time that he was brought in your clinic (136 on Wednesday morning) have the right medicines were provided. What you claimed to be an accurate test (which by the way, ako pa ang naghanap kasi mukhang hindi urgent sa inyo, the leptospirosis kit) was not as accurate as you claimed it. As such, while the result is negative, other vets claimed that they should still be vigilant with the symptoms since the kit itself is not accurate. The symptoms, increase in CREA and ALT (liver), were the signs (1202 and 129, respectively) on the 6th day under your care. He has all the chance and we took those chances for him to live but it seemed that we have brought him to the wrong hospital. Hope this will be a lesson learned from your end for this not to happen again.
