Excellent coffee and pastry shop, reasonable prices, friendly staff

How this place is so popular is entirely beyond me. Horrible food, awful coffee. It's even worse here than the main shop in town. The cakes are alright, but far from great. Avoid

Sans Rival Cakes & Pastries is located inside Robinson Mall dumaguete. The cake and pastries are delicious, excellent coffee and a great place for a meal as well. I highly recommend eating here or simply enjoying a good cup of coffee. It's really very popular restaurant and coffee shop

Good place to take a break and watch the shoppers go by. They also have a good selection of lunch menu items. Check out the mango or chocolate Silvanas for something a bit different. Brewed coffee is good - they also serve fresh milk with your coffee on request.

In French, "sans rival" translates to "unrivaled" in English and like the pastries found at the Sans Rival located off the Blvd., the ones here are just that - sans rival. For better or worse, this particular Sans Rival location has a lot of expat clientele.
