Atlantis Dive Resorts and Liveaboard - Dumaguete

Overpriced for what you get. Room totally overpriced (and without any balcony/window to open?!). Twi times the a/c stopped working and require maintenance. Food mostly good. But restaurant is under-staffed, take too long to get attention of one of the few busy waitress, also bad if you like spicy food (like us), some dishes are advertised as spicy and totally lack of spicy. Staff are friendly and helpful, same for diving staff! Totally disappointed by the massage, they told us "trained in the us", not sure how it is in the us, but when you explicitly write that you want a strong massage and she was really like sleeping..should get trained in the Philippes first. To co conclude, great for diving, but you can find far better room/food/spa in similar price range in the same town (with similar high value diving)

Best staff of any liveaboard ( I've done a LOT), and by FAR FAR FAR the best food! All the sites were lovely, whale sharks, thresher sharks, beauty, Oh My:-).

Just spent 9 Days aboard the Azores Atlantis Liveaboard. Not only was the diving incredible, the crew were awesome. They took us to wonderful places, attended our every need, and made sure everyone had a great time. (Extra kudos to DMs Cipooz, Long, and Dennis! They made you feel comfortable at the dive sites, took extra care with every dive - pointing things out and making sure you were having the best diving experience.) The food was unbelievable. Every meal was sumptuous. (Shout out to Chef Charlie!) I cannot even begin to describe how fantastic our experience on board the Azores has been. The night before and the day after we were at Atlantis resort, we enjoyed good food and entertainment and had a great massage. Chilled by the pool while killing some time before going back to the airport. We also took a trip to Twin Falls. All of this was through Atlantis. All of the staff and facilities were island beautiful and gracious. Highly recommended.

Our group of 10 were treated like Kings and Queens all week by the staff at Atlantis. Diving was so much fun and a treat for photographers. Rooms were clean, pool was quiet and relaxing. Restaurant had a variety of good food all week.

An amazing resort. Driving in on the small dirt road had me nervous. But, once you’re here it’s an amazing experience. The staff remembers everyone’s name, and is very accommodating. Harold, James, and Alfred are some of the best diving guides in the world. Communication is sometimes hard, but if you’re patient trying to explain, they will answer all your questions, joke around with you, and smile. Franz in the front desk is always willing to help with anything. Anne our server was great too. Always smiling and went out of her way if we needed anything. The food is amazing, and if you’re dieting, I feel bad for you. Apo Island and Whale Shark experience was a life experience. My girlfriend isn’t a strong swimmer, but she came with me to the whale sharks, and just hung on to the side of the boat. The Atlantis staff member stayed by her to make sure she enjoyed the experience, and she smiled ear to ear the whole time. I will be returning every Christmas if the amazing staff will allow me. I’d give it 100 stars if I could.
