Plaza Lacson

Best place to sit and watch people, feed pigeons, commercial center.

I am out of words to describe the enormous transformations that the City of Manila is undergoing including this historic plaza here in Escolta! You can no longer feel the presence of different obstructions including street vendors.

Plaza Lacson is part of the historic district of Manila. These days, it's filled with street food vendors and 'bazaar style shops'. It's a stone throw away from historic Escolta, Chinatown, and Quiapo. It's lively, busy, and dense, yet gives you a glimpse of the life of the average Filipino. If that is not your type of activity, then turn around and go elsewhere. As with any other trip, just be mindful of your stuff.

It's at the intersection just nearby Quiapo Church. It used to be buzzing with street vendors and jeepneys, I haven't been there recently so I'm not sure if the vendors are still there.
