Burnt remains of a historical building. Even though it has been renovated in previous years, it's still not ready for the public to enter. Inside is full of trees and plants. Totally need restoration. It is now just a side walk and people rest at the sides. One side of the road is closed due to construction work.

The Aduana Building, also known as Intendencia, was a Spanish colonial structure in Intramuros, Manila.

It's one of those sad buildings that you won't think had been there forever (but had been rebuilt and repaired over the years). Was last used during the 70s, but unfortunately had been abandoned since. A few meters away from this building is Plaza Mexico. So you'll get a feel of how the place could've been used as a customs area during the Spanish times (kinda like the Aduana in Barcelona). Since the place is abandoned, best time to get photos is early in the morning or later in the afternoon (since this place isn't lighted, better go in the morning instead... take the photo from plaza Espana). Hopefully the Ferry rides would be reactivated once the Intramuros - Binondo bridge has been completed. You can make this your first stop during your visit.
