Food is great! No questions. I hope the taste doesn't change. My favorite - Glory's. Forever and ever. The big meh is the cleanliness of the place. If you look at it seriously enough and spend some time observing, there are lots of red flags regarding health. Being on the side of the river, sometimes trash and excesses from the stores are just thrown away there. The cleanliness of the PAID restrooms are far away to even classify it as paid. The approximation to some barbecue stands here is a health hazard because the smell reeks whenever I pass through here for a second. If this is what I see each time I go there, I'll begin to question the sanity of the food they're serving.

Hmm! Actually when you say Ilocos you'll automatically think of Bagnet and Empanada as their iconic delicacies. We went there from Vigan for 2 hours. The area is big and you have a lot of choices what stall (not restaurant) you will choose. We tried 2 stalls comparing which is better (I won't tell the name of the stall) quite disappointed though because I was expecting something like WOW factor but to my dismay there's none. But what makes their empanada famous is maybe because of their Ilocos Suka. The best specially if it's spicy. If you want to eat Empanada you don't have to go there. You can satisfy your cravings even in Vigan.

Glory's Empanada is the popular stall here. Good empanadas, said to be the original.
