BDO Davao - Claveria Branch

Worst customer service I have ever experienced from a bank. I had to go to BPI CM Recto and this branch for my father's statement of account and bank certificate for a visa. Both banks gave me instructions regarding authorization and whatnot (BPI had me fill up ONE form for everything I needed whereas BDO had me fill up FIVE forms). Going through BPI was a BREEZE (less than 5 minutes from when I entered to when I got back to my car). However, I had to go through a NIGHTMARE with BDO. I was in the bank for more than an hour. Had I not been assertive enough, I would have left empty-handed despite going off duty for this alone. They refused to give me the documents I requested as they apparently needed 2 copies of a document that I had my father signed the day before (which is no fault of mine AS IT WAS A FAILURE TO INSTRUCT PROPERLY ON THEIR SIDE THAT CAUSED THIS ISSUE). Note, that I had to travel to Panabo to get everything signed, and back to Davao to get them the forms they asked for. These people have ABSOLUTELY NO REGARD FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS. I almost ended up making a scene as I have already spent 2 days just trying to get everything sorted out, and now they're blatantly refusing to give me my documents BECAUSE OF A MISTAKE THEY MADE and on an issue that does not cause any security problems whatsoever. IMAGINE? I get my documents using one form and within 5 minutes from BPI, but I needed 5 forms, nearly 1.5 hours, emotional distress, a teller who clearly doesn't give a damn about her customer, and NEEDING TO TALK TO THE MANAGER just to get my documents.nnMy father's account in BDO is considerably lower than that in BPI, but since this incident, I will be having him transfer all of his money elsewhere. You still need to fill out a slip for any transactions which is really ancient. Tellers are rude specially if you don’t look bougie. They have deposit machines thou so that’s great I guess.
