Went there on Mother’s Day 2021. The location and the ambiance of the place rivals Olivia’s, which sits across the road.nnWe arrived without a reservation but the receptionist downstairs radioed the staff upstairs and still managed to get us a table.nnIt could’ve been a wonderful experience except that everything went downhill from there.nnOn the 2nd floor:nn- no one showed us where our table is. Not until we asked for it after 5 minutes of waiting.n- after asking they showed us to a dirty tablen- we ordered a set meal (there’s 6 of us) which consists of soup, sisig, fried chicken, pancit, and juice.n- the sizzling sisig came first but our table hasn’t been set yet (not even glasses, or spoons and forks)n- the rest of our food came in this order: rice, pancit, fried chicken, and warm juice. The soup came 30 minutes later. The counter is in my direct point of view and I can see them pointing at each other)n- we asked for ice three times from three different people and they only granted our request after the third time.n- We asked if they can change the sisig because it’s not hot anymore and there’s raw egg. We were afraid of food poisoning. They only heated itnnShort story: we were able to eat our lunch after 1.5 hours of waiting. At least we got 2 slices of complementary chocolate cake to make up for their bad service.nnP.S. My daughter and my aunt had diarrhea and vomitting late afternoon after that. If they got hospitalized, we’d sue the place.nnVerdict: I swear not to eat in that place. I don’t recommend it either. Perhaps if they improve their service, there’s redemption.nnWe talked to the Ops Mgr after that and she apologized. According to her, they’ve only been 3 months in operation. I disagree, they should’ve trained their staff beforehand for such situations.nnFor anyone going to Guimaras, I’d still recommend going to the usual places like Olivia’s, Pitstop, Biking’s, and Zugba.nnThey’ve been tested and tried. And they have much better food.
