We visited Hinatuan Adventure Park last weekend. The location is just a stone throw away from the entrance to Enchanter River so going to HAP will not be a problem. Signages are almost everywhere as you approach the area.nnThe whole staff is super friendly. Upon arrival, the security officer properly verified our reservation and had guided us to the parking area. To our surprise, the park manager (Sir Pidot) even welcomed and met us just after we had parked our vehicles. He escorted us to the reception hall and there we were greeted by the front desk officer, spoke to us in Tagalog but I allowed her to speak in Cebuano because we are Bisdak (of course, they speak local dialects as well). We logged and checked-in earlier than everybody else, as they were expecting some more guests.nnMenu items are priced decently. They have a a wide variety of 'lutong bahay' to choose from. Softdrinks are ice cold.nWe had our brunch served right away in the restaurant of the main building, they exactly knew that we were starving after a long drive from DC. Food was served hot as we opted for pork sinagang and lumpiang shanghai. The rest rooms are good smelling and very clean, too.nnRoom rates are unbelievably affordable. We stayed in room #1, very clean and well-lit. Also, it's very spacious and comfortable with three nice mattresses (one queen size and two single) and clean sheets, towels and pillows. Extra folding beds are available, just in case we still need 'more space' between ourselves after a long day of strolling. Oh did I mention it does have a Widescreen TV with satellite programming, should you wish to stay entertained indoors. One serious thing here- the bathroom is classy; it has hot and cold shower, bidet, tissue paper, trash bin, rubber floor mats, face towels and personal hygiene kits. The split-type AC was blazing cold as well.nnBut wait..Thank God for WiFi- they have one here in HAP!nThe internet speed is pretty decent, too, especially late at night (when lesser guests are connected, as most go straight to bed for a good slumber after a day's worth of wandering around the park and of Hinatuan). Please ask for the WiFi password, they have three different WiFi networks in HAP. I strongly suggest to connect to the 5 GHz if your device supports it. Did I mention that the TV is a 'Smart' one? You may also stream/review pics and vids from your phone so that you could see them in widescreen.nnThe view from the view deck is spectacular, overlooking lush greenery of HAP. Complete with a long tables and chairs for your convenience if you need to dine and/or drink there. Please ensure Claygo. Albeit its distance, you can still connect to the WiFi outdoor network. Pretty neat, noh?!nnNext activity: ATV ride experience. It was my first and had really, really good time with it. The outdoor crew are trained safety personnel which means you're totally safe with them.nnYou may also book with HAP to charter your sidetrips (and I suggest you should) if you wish to visit Enchanted River and some beach destinations like Sibadan, Pacific Shores, etc. Future HAP activities are in the works already (zipline, wall climbing, river kayaking) so stay tuned.nnMy colleagues and I really love this amazing place. Thank you HAP for the warmest welcome and for the nicest hospitality. Thank you for making my first Hinatuan experience the best.nWe will be back again for sure!
