Our Lady of the Pillar Statue

The Patroness of the Diocese of Imus. This is the first apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and She was still alive when She appeared to St. James the Greater in Spain to encourage him to not give up evangelization in Spain. When the Parish of Our Lady of the Pillar in the City of Imus became the seat of the Diocese of Imus in 1960, She became the patroness of the entire new diocese comprising the entire Province of Cavite, making the Blessed Mother twice the patroness of the province under the titles Our Lady of Solitude of Porta Vaga and Our Lady of the Pillar!
