We ordered Standard Platter and Seafood Kare-Kare Rice Bowl. After quite some time somebody else came to inform us that the Seafood Kare-kare was not available, only the classic one. So we said okay we’ll have the classic kare-kare. After a while we were again informed that it was not available but beef kare-kare ala carte was. So we ordered that, half size, plus a cup of rice. After a while the waiter came back and informed us that half orders of the ala carte meals were not available, only whole orders are. Since there’s just two of us and I was already settled with my standard platter, we decided to just order another rice topping (Fiesta Plate). After a while somebody came delivering a meal which we think was classic kare-kare rice bowl. We called the attention of the waiter who took our order and even she was confused as how the meal was available and even served to us as she did not even punch it. Should have been okay sana to settle with that kaso the meal looked terrible, it looked like a leftover (see photo). So we opted for the fiesta plate. Finally the orders came... It was the driest of all dry fried chicken that I had. Sorry. Even my hubby is claiming that they were reheated meals. I expected more from a well-known and respected chicken restaurant but it seems that the local neighborhood fried and lechon chicken stations are far better tasting.
