Mt. Caniaw View Deck

We went up, and the road there is not maintained at all. Rocks and soil in places, trees growing out of the ground, boulders in some parts. Definitely make sure you are confident driving and your brakes work well. The road is a popular bike route so keep that in mind. The top view deck is an abandoned building with tons of communications dishes, some if which seem to be hanging by a thread. It was mighty windy up there, almost typhoon strong. The sunrise was the best part, and you can see over the land on one side and the sea on the other, although the view is partially blocked by the abandoned building and the towers in the distance. All in all, a unique experience that probably is a one time thing.

Best place to drink a cup of coffee. From the view deck (even from the road), you can see the entire town of Bantay and its neighboring towns and Abra at the other side. The road is paved but too steep and curvy.

The view is good. The cloud is low. But the road is too steep becareful for those who aren't experienced in driving steep roads. Many sharp turns. Good for biking
