Caticlan's Jetty Port has two functions: 1) Transporting tourists to Boracay's Jetty Port 2) It is the terminal of an intense ferry activity with the other islands The flight from Caticlan to Manila was canceled without notice, as part of various decisions at the last moment in this Lockdown period for Covid-19. I therefore had to go to Manila by sea with a ferry to Batangas. I found a 2GO ferry so I waited a long time for boarding under a roadside awning. Then, the queue along the pier under a covered walkway, the inspection of the baggage with the drug dog, and finally the boarding, with more than 1 hour delay compared to the departure time. Let's say that only one pier is inadequate for the traffic of the various ships that carry goods, tourists, roro etc. They missed the doubling opportunity in 2018 when Boracay was closed for rehabilitation. So landings and boardings are always physiologically late due to lack of slots.
