Okay, my travel in this resort happened in 2009 during our Parish Outing at Pundaquit Beach.
The place is serene, warm and scenic as you can view from here the two known islands of San Antonio as well as its white sand beaches.
Aside from the wonderful sunset that you can spot here, you can also see the great mountains of Caraballo, which unfortunately, was deforested by some locals (other say its the Aetas), due to their customs and traditions. You will relatively feel peaceful and small after seeing these picturesque views. Not to mention that mobile and internet signals are weak here during those times.
It's still important to be connected to the outside world despite taking your memorable vacation, so as to keep updated in what's happening with your family, your friends and of course, our country and the world. But for the mean time, enjoy watching that sunset from the West Philippine Sea.
Place was perfect even if its little too tight due to covid19, no towels provided during our stay, it was Dec 8, 1800php for 1 night stay and we needed to leave early cause the staff said there will be checking of DOT at their resort which I highly doubt cause other resorts would take us in, but it is understandable as they are avoiding penalties
Canoe beach is pleasant enough. We were allocated room 1. The room has no TV and no refridgerator. The room and the linen were spotlessly clean. There was a double and a single bed in the room. There was no other furniture inside the room. The bathroom was fine but no hot water. The room was 3000 pessos for the night. The resort has a decent sized swimming pool. Beautiful view across to the islands. Staff were very accommodating and eager to please. From a local perspective the food was OK and very reasonably priced. Non acclimatised foreigners may struggle a bit with the food. There are plenty of Kubos just off the beach free of charge. There is a large play area in the resort where kids can run around or you can play volleyball etc. The confines of the resort were spotlessly clean and very well kept. Carparking is available for 20 cars. This is a peaceful resort but also a place where you can make your own fun, that's what it's designed for. When we were there it was fairly busy. Worth a visit.
Great location but needs more amenities.
Quite so relaxing.
