Villa Janella Residences & Beach Resort

Pool was not ready, only knee level when we got there. The lone staff is very rude and unaccommodating. She sounded like it was our fault that we booked there. Staff/owner did not advise beforehand that the pool is unavailable, even though we booked weeks before! The kiddie pool looked filthy and mossy. We ended up booking on another resort. The owner, after much discussion, agreed to refund our reservation fee but we ourselves had to go to her place to get it, as the resort has no cash on hand. No CUSTOMER SERVICE at all! Please dont book here, you will just waste your money and may end up spending more because you may get ill from the filthiness of the swimming pool.

If you want a resort with a quiet and private beach, here's an option. It also provides a teasing view of Capones and Camara, inviting you for island hopping each time one looks at the expanse. Limited food options though so most visitors bring their stuff to grill and cook. Or eat at nearby restos of other resorts.

The tour was great. The food was good but sometimes not enough. The aircon was not fit for the room size. But in over all still good and can be recommended.

the room had a good size and simple furnished with 2 small double beds so i combinded the 2 beds and it was okay ! the balcony was nice ! up on check in and check out nobody helped the to carry the bags up/down to/from the first floor (only 2 friendly female employee's been around and i will not ask a girl to carry my bags !) the aircon was not powerful enough for the room size and quiet old, no refrigerator and no hot water and the rate was a little too high even they gave me a discount but the room rates in san antonio are in general too high and most other resorts around have very small and even more simple rooms and they ask for 1500 to 3000 per night (for 2 pax) also without hot water and refrigerator ! just a small TV with bad signal ! so villa janella was the best deal this time compare to a few other resorts !
