Philippine General Hospital

One of the worst emergency facility ive ever encountered. My brother was having stroke so we brought him to PGH. On their emergency entrance we were not allowed to enter. Their reason is that they said they are at that time fully occupied. So we booked a Grab to bring him to the other nearest hospital, but the guards and nurses of PGH did not even bother to help us lift my brother into the car. My brother was already unconscious but they did not help us lift my brother up. I even heard the guards saying "marame naman Kayo jan" while smiling. Good thing the bystanders there helped us in lifting my brother to the car. He was on the brink of death yet PGH emergency did not even care. I thought hospitals aren't supposed to reject any EMERGENCY situations, in our case my brother was having STROKE. So we went to Manila Doctors Hospital which is total opposite of PGH, my brother was quickly accomodated and administered to the emergency room. The staffs have that sense of urgency in administering the patient, unlike in PGH they did not even show any care at all. It is as if they are okay with people dying at their front door. He was having a stroke for Christ sake but PGH did not bother to care even we are at the very footstep of their facility. Nakakamatay ang emergency ng PGH. This is based on my true experience. I do not mean that this is the general experience in PGH. This is just our experience. I am not sure if there are other people who experienced the same treatment, but I will not be surprised if there are.

For Pay Admitting, Doctors,nurses and staff are very friendly, accomodating and passionate.

very smart and accomodating staffs espicially to there physcian,nurses,security guard and janitorials ,safe to all patients and visitors i gave this establishment a five star..good luck hoping more improvement soon.

I came here at around 5am and until now its been 11am and still my appointment is not yet done. Staffs are not accomodating .

To be fair there are a lot of good doctors and staff in PGH but it also has a lot of unprofessional and rude staff to mention. In ward 6 at 4 a.m a nurse is giving a loud wake up call to everyone in a demanding way. I mean it is 4 a.m and some have not slept very well for several reasons. Treat everyone with dignity and respect please.
