Cool place! Worth the travel for almost an hour to reach the island. Souvenir items available.

The island is breathtaking. You can enjoy the view and relax here without the crowd. Just be prepare for the long travel time.

Pictures sometimes are better than the reality. The beach is coral or stone, not fine sand. Not much to see under the water. Like in other places in the Philippines, you have to pay a small fee. 100 pesos If I remember well. It's to help preserving. But there is plastic in the island. They can easily put fines or sign to inform or make it a no plastic island. It's so small that it's possible to do. The workers are just sitting there and not cleaning the island. They could turn and work one hour each every day to take the plastic from all around the island. Similar to Apo island close to Dumaguete. Tourist will not come again.

The struggle to reach the island is real. There’s not much big boats going to the island. The easiest way is to charter smaller boats. What’s good or best about this place is the place itself. You’d really want to come back. We were told that food is expensive here so was asked to buy our stuff first from the mainland. To our surprise it’s even cheaper here compared to the previous islands we’ve been to. They do not have electricity in the mornings like majority of the islands as they solely rely on solar panels. So make sure to pack your powerbank s ready. They have cottage rooms available or you can pitch a tent.

One of the country's gem. Truly breathtaking. Getting there is not quiet easy due to the limited mode of public transportation especially on boat. As a solo traveler, I've rented a boat for 2,000 pesos (usual rate is 2.5k) going to the island from Kawayan Port, the nearest port in Biliran. Travel time is approximately 45 minutes and a 100 pesos environmental fee. The island offers a picturesque view and the feeling of isolation from the hustle and bustle life.
