Our Lady of the Assumption Parish - Malate

This church is beautiful! When we're still in Manila, we used to attend mass here. You should visit here and try to experience the solemness of the church.

Awful Place. Preachers begging constantly for money (over loudspeakers). The "music" or "singing" if you even can call the distorted devillish voices singing, is purely awful. I have comparison with different churches in metro manila and the Assumption Parish is either sounding like a dying cat or the priest asking his sheeps for piso. The worst thing are still the loudspeakers. Every day, for hours, the whole barangay is filled with that vile attempt to gospel. On sunday it yells THE WHOLE FRIGGIN DAY. Beside the nearby stadium, the 4 or 5 clubs and general city vibe, it generates an disgusting cacophonia of noise that causes the ears, of any sane person, to bleed. The Barangay shut a nearby club down for a week, because somebody from green residence complained about the music. 1 club out of 5. If its like that, the councilperson should burn the Church down and bring eternal peace to all the neighborhood. Please god, smite these demonspawns with a lightning from the skies 🙏🙏🙏

A very nice place.

This is the church where the sisters of the Franciscan Sister Association are attending. Compared to Japanese churches, it is a very gorgeous church like the Philippines.
