Algoon Diving Center

This dive center has so much to offer to all dive fanatics out there. Of course for those who aren't divers, they too have other activities like snorkeling and water sports. The marine life is so diverse that you can't get enough of the place. This is where you get to see and experience the mergence of cold spring and salt water, something this dive center is proud of. Well the best advise I can give, TRY THIS PLACE you will love it.

Algoon Diving Center is a must place to visit and dive. They brought me to dive sites that I find remarkable and unique. Their staff and management are friendly and very hospitable. Its an experience I would never forget.

Staff are so accomodating. Serenity at its finest. VILLAS are spacious. And food so sumptous! Dive sites are SUPERB! Both wide and Macro photography are a total package!

In July I was looking for a new dive center to try as this would have been my 6th visit to the Philippines as I fell in love with the country as well as the people my very first visit. Having been there a few times now I know many dive centers do not have very good social media or even a web site to see what they offered. I knew I was going to travel to Medina Misamis Oriental Philippines (Yes I was told the area was not safe they were very wrong) as the girl friend’s family lives close to there. I found a dive center with no web site and very little on Facebook and I asked the girl friend to contact them. She contacted Lito (the operator of Algoon Diving Center) and arrangements were made to come in a few weeks. While I was still in Canada I designed a basic web site for them and offered to help get them on the internet after I traveled there. I have helped a few other dive centers in the Philippines as well and I wanted to see how the dive center was operated how safe it was and the level of the instructors before I committed to posting anything. Well it was amazing to say the least!!! This was an amazing find and they really needed to get some exposure. Excellent rates and very safe and the level of instruction was very high. They specialize in the PADI DSD so it no wonder the skill level is so high. I loved the place and was honored to spend time with them and I highly recommend them if you’re in the area. The resort is super safe and has many security officers that all get to know your name it felt like family. Its suiting that I get to do the first review. The honor was all mine!!!!
