Barenaked - Taft

It was my first time getting my hair in sensitive areas removed like this; the staff were friendly and kind. The facilities were clean and provided soap and water for us to use. Like I said, it was my first time so I'm not entirely sure if it usually hurts more or less in other places but the pain here was tolerable. Take note, there was pain so if you're looking for a procedure with no pain I doubt this is for you. That said, the staff was kind enough to keep asking if I could handle it and went in a pace that was fast enough for it not to hurt too much.

Went in for a milk & honey body scrub and Brazilian sugaring. While the body scrub was average to OK, I would never ever do Brazilian sugaring again there. I was the only client there and one of the 2 staff there had invited friends over who were laughing and talking so loud they outdid the music that's supposed to make you relax. They were also watching TV which also outdid the music, there was in general no calm and relaxing atmosphere. They had invited a man over as well. And I could hear they were mentioning me and what I was having done. Regarding the sugaring process itself; OUCH. She used WAY too much powder, so she had to go through 3 portions of sugar on what was supposed to be just a 3 week clean-up, and only used that powder on my bikini line. Everywhere else she went in dry, ripping and pulling, not knowing how to place my body to reach better, easier and more thorough. When it was finally all done I was left with patches of hair, an insane burn, and just a horrible feeling knowing I'd pay for it. I would never return.

I've been to a lot of waxing salons before but I only trust BareNaked for anything more than underarm waxing. Not to mention, theirs is the least painful hair removal I've tried so far.

Although I do not have complaints to the other branches, I am originally getting the service at for my sugar waxing, i cannot control myself comparing the service between these branches, since I can even fall asleep while i’m getting the service for my brazillian and UA with glorietta 5 branch. Specifically with Mae, she’s an expert and applies the principle of Barenaked, less pain sugar waxing and she pull hair correctly. Now, i went to Barenaked TAFT because it is the closest to my location. For 2 consecutives times December and FEBRUARY 2018 that I am not satisfied with the service I am getting.These two women were rushing so much that I am not really breathing comfortably. Totally different from the comfort i am getting from the latter i mentioned. They forgot the principle of barenaked. I guess because Mitch was in a hurry to go home. I forgot the other girl’s name in Dec. But goodness for the 2nd time that I was getting nightmare on the table, plus my hair wasn’t pulled correctly, hair remain in my underarm, totally messy with mitch. And including my bikini area for my BZ and the inner area. PLUS... she doesn’t even know how to close the door. So effing ignorant on how to give PRIVACY. I will never go back there anymore. People in this branch need to go back to trainings and GOOD attitude and CUSTOMER SERVICE. tsk DO NOT GO HERE! VISIT THE OTHER BRANCH
