We rented a room for two nights. The room rates are quite reasonable. We got a room with a queen sized bed with table, chair, TV and its own CR. We're happy with it. It comes with a complimentary breakfast( we had Vigan longganisa, boiled egg and rice) and great instant coffee. You get fresh towels, complimentary soap and bath tissue as well. Service is pretty good as well. We'll come back here again when we have another Vigan trip.

The place is actually an old house restored to become an inn. It is not really a hotel but more of an inn. Light packers who only needs a place to sleep at night will find Casa Rica to be a good place to stay in. For those expecting a hotel service where towels, shampoo and soap are provided, look elsewhere. It says "Casa Rica Hotel", but know that it is not really a hotel. Oh, and there are no parking area if you bring a car. Just park on the roadside.

The room was small, the bathrooms door know is broken and the ceiling had duct tape. The breakfast is awful. If you want the rustic and old vibe stay here. The staff was very friendly but needs more training in talking and aswering guests queries. If you like going out late at night i dont recommend staying since they have a 10pm curfew.

Comfortable, afforable and clean. Rooms are very quiet without a hint of outside noise. Rooms are quite small, no cabinets and storage so travellers with plenty of luggage will have a bit of a problem. Still, for a very affordable room you cannot ask for more. The room is cozy and has an authentic spanish colonial vibe. Scent is fairly nice and linens are also crisp and fresh, and also equipped with the famous Ilocos blanket. During our stay, there are no bell boy on duty, so good luck if you packed many luggage. On-street parking is also available but cover your wind shield with sun shades because sun rises directly at the direction of the street. Breakfast is nice, but there's room for improvement. 5 to 10 minute walk from Calle Crisologo and plaza. Amenities/inclusions: Bottled water Wifi On-street free parking Hot shower Air-conditioning Free breakfast Near tourist destinations Friendly staff Over all, good place to stay. Great value for money.

Heads up for those considering this hotel.. We are attending a mid year convention in Vigan and this is worst hotel I've ever been so far!.. Waste of money!.. And it's just our first few hours here!.. We booked for three days!.. Their ads said there's free bottled water, soap and tissue.. There's only tissue.. They said they stopped giving free bottles water.. They gave me the soap though.. But you'd have to ask for it.. Parking is just street parking.. But not anywhere along the hotel.. The only have one spot for you to park!.. Well, the spot could accommodate probabaly one and a half car!.. So if other hotel guests have vehicles, you'd have to park elsewhere!.. Your problem, not theirs!.. Their ads also said there'd be a big cabinet where we could hang our stuff.. I even called to confirm.. But when we arrived, they said there's no cabinet for our suits and barongs to hang.. So, ok.. We went out to register ang attend the fellowship night, where we get to mingle with our colleagues and have fun.. When we got back at the hotel at around 11pm, it was locked!.. Thet didn't see us leave and they said they forgot to mention that THEY HAVE A CURFEW!.. Seriously!.. This is the only hotel that I know of so far that gives its guests a curfew!. They lock the doors at 10pm!.. So we were knocking and calling, going around the hotel for 20 mins!.. Until the receptionist woke up and told us about the curfew!.. You'd probably be better off in other hotels.. The cabinet, water and if there are other would probabaly be acceptable.. But the curfew and parking!.. For me is just a deal breaker no matter how cheap their rates are.. There are way better hotels here for the same price..
