A pearl of lubin

A gothic building built on a square plan, dating from the time of construction of the city defensive walls from the mid-fourteenth century, raised in the sixteenth century. Rebuilt again in the 18th century and in the 19th century. The lower parts are made of stone and brick, the higher parts of brick. Tower helmet from the 19th century. The Głogów Gate consisted of a gate building, tangent from the north with the tower and a rampart gate in front of the walls. The gate building had a 6-meter high vaulted passage with a drawbridge, with an original height of 10 m, then 20 m. At the gate there was a double defensive wall and a triple moat with three bridges, one of which was a drawbridge. To the north-east wall of the tower adjoined a three-storey building from the 18th century.

One of the very few monuments of Lubin. On this tower you can see 2 tables with information about this object. Also worth seeing.
