Legend has it that the Allotment Garden has its dark past. According to history, in the areas inhabited and divided today in the second half of the 10th century, Bogfam ruled, who owned a mill, inns and two wives and two sons: elder Masław and younger Rodomił. In his will, he gave each son half of his property. After his death, it didn't take long for the fence separating the two new estates to fall down soon after, when his older son Masław wanted his brother's lands. The war for legitimate land was called the "penny war". To this day, it cannot be clearly stated whether this name comes from the value of these lands or from the common name among the population of the surrounding area. However, the gathering of the fyrd at the end of the eleventh century Masław won, and the dispute lasting several years was overcome, which also brought death to the younger son of Rodomił. Again, these lands were united under one ruler. It was the period of the largest disputes in which murders, thefts and burning of property recorded by the local scribe of Michael were allowed. At this stage, the books are silent as if history had no more to offer. But further references to the division of land (probably into offspring) were found in the archives of a local Senior. According to land acts, these areas were inhabited by three of his Vassals, and these records come from the second half of the fourteenth century. The most interesting document from the end of the fourteenth century are the property records of Filip from Żychlin - the commander of Łęczyca. Documents appear for the first time at the end of the 14th century.

Peace and quiet, the perfect place for your own little piece of land.
