We, family of three, stopped at this place on our way to Warsaw from northern England. We were that impressed we then stopped here again on our way back. It is conveniently placed in a small town next to the motorway not far from the German boarder. The room we stayed at was newly built with three beds and a small bathroom. Simple, modern looking room, however the bed sheets are a little dated but very clean. There was a couple of cups, coffee and bottles water for us. We arrived very late at night both times and this was not a problem. The hosts are very nice, polite, happy smiley people. We opted for breakfast the next day which was perfectly Polish; it came with fresh coffee, different teas, mixed meat, cheese salad stuff and fresh bread. I would highly recommend to pay the little extra for this. The for money it is incredible and a place I will be using again.

Torzym can be a bit wildish for those who are unaware of the Polish language. It can be tricky to spot the reception if no one is outside. You just need to go through the gate and up the stairs. The owner speaks English, the rest do not (I think). There is also a dog who can be seen threatening, but it is not. The rooms were super clean and it was great for the price. Ideal for those looking for a retreat.
