I opened an account with many banks, but Santander pleasantly surprised me. The language barrier was minimal, or rather it was not at all, which is a plus for a foreigner. I opened an account as quickly as possible, and throughout the process I felt as comfortable as possible. Staff, interior, efficiency, service: 10/10

A bank branch like BZ WBK, you will spend half a day here in front of you two people in queue, but when you wait, you will do everything immediately. A big plus for two ATMs, no need to wait. Note, however, that the ATM on the right has such a small parish that it turns on issuing large denominations. Take PLN 200 and you think it will spend 2x100 or a few PLN 50? Nothing of that. He will give you one PLN 200 note and will display "Have a nice day". You can see that he enjoys it, and then you run and try to change ...

The advantage is air conditioning, cons: no cups in the water dispenser and unbearably long waiting times. Given that I was fourth in the queue, I spent 40 minutes, I think it's too long.
