Mural: "Cupido"

MURAL: "CUPIDO" is located on the Hotel Blick building at Jana z Kolna Street (but it is visible from Portowa Street). The author of the mural is Sainer. It was created in 2013 during the Traffic Design Festival. Sainer, or in fact Przemek Blejzyk, together with Mateusz Gapski form the ETAM CRU duo - in the graffiti community, however, they are better known as BEZT and SAINER. They have been working together for quite a few years, both of them are graduates of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź at the Faculty of Graphics and Painting. Education, joint work and practice allowed them to develop a unique and recognizable style. They do not describe themselves as street artists, and what they do they prefer to describe as large-format painting. (they also create paintings, posters or clothing logos). The duo got its name because they didn't really want a name. Someone once said "it's there" and it has stayed that way :) ETAM CRU itself was established in 2008 and since then it has been effectively giving colors to cities. They started in Bydgoszcz, but over time they conquered not only Poland but also a large part of the world. Their murals can be seen not only in cities such as Olsztyn, Łódź or Warsaw, but also Gdynia :) - the artists painted in Bulgaria, Germany, Russia, Portugal and the USA. ETAM CRU calls us from his works not only with an image refined to perfection with attention to every detail, but also with sarcasm and humor hidden in it, which makes the works appeal to not only fans of the genre, but also ordinary passers-by. As the artists themselves say, their task is to make the viewer pause at their work for a moment, and by watching it stimulate the imagination. And I think they're great at it. I like Gdynia Cupido immensely and every time I pass him on the street, I give him a look - it causes a smile to appear on my face :) I RECOMMEND :)
