The kindergarten made a shameful decision to give the children venison - very unhealthy meat. Even in countries where game consumption is high, it is not recommended to give it to children and pregnant women due to the high lead content and possible developmental disorders. In 2011, the concentration of heavy metals in hunted mallard ducks and coot was the subject of research for a doctoral dissertation * defended at the Jagiellonian University. 103 crosses and 78 bales hunted in the Zator and Milicz ponds were examined. Research effect? Every fifth bird (18%) was unfit for consumption because the lead content was hazardous to health. You could just poison yourself with these birds.
