On the outskirts of Krajenka and practically adjacent to nearby agricultural land, there was a Jewish cemetery. To this day, its boundaries have become blurred, which can be recreated only with the help of old maps and city plans. Nevertheless, the presence of the necropolis kept in the social consciousness of the inhabitants, allowed to retain a part of the stand and greenery, which years ago was the sacred for the Jews of the country. The small, green area was not appropriated by aggressive investors, and the wise hosts of Krajenka made a lapidarium installation there. The commemoration could be made thanks to the sensitivity of a resident who discovered on the local dump the elements of the cemetery equipment, namely several tombstones, matzevot and their fragments. Today, near the Jewish cemetery, whose area has not been clearly marked, there is at least a modest lapidarium. The installation marks the area of remembrance of the contemporary town that professes Judaism. It is a touching symbol, just as worthy as it is due to the respect for the Jewish sacrum and Jews - the absent community of this charming town.
