The construction of the baroque palace was started by Piotr Bniński in 1740. The building was rebuilt in the second half of the 19th century in the neoclassical style. It is said that before the Second World War it was the most impressive family residence in northern Poland. After the death of the last owner from the Bniński family, the palace fulfilled social functions. During the war it was turned into a German youth center and then a war hospital. Typically after the war - an agricultural school, and after it the facility was administered by the army, and probably has remained so until now ... The palace makes an impressive impression, with its front facade facing the village, with symmetrical wings overlapping the rear of the vast park. Unfortunately, the entrance to the area is protected by warning signs from the military administration, so the possibilities of visiting the entire property are very limited. Nevertheless, I recommend including this point on the sightseeing map, because it is undoubtedly worth it. It also requires a real host who will not only provide a tangible symbol of the power of the Polish landed gentry, even to emphasize - which is now extremely fashionable - the national character of our homeland, tia ...
