At the foot of Góra Zamkowa, at the spring opposite the historic mill in Szczebrzeszyn at ul. Klukowski there is an interesting wooden sculpture of a beetle, which welcomes you at the entrance to the city from the side of Kawęczyn. The wooden sculpture was unveiled on October 26, 2018 at 13 in place of the previous one, which was destroyed. Its author is also Zygmunt Jarmuł. The insect was carved from a linden trunk from Błonie near Szczebrzeszyn and the donor of the material was the mayor of Kawęczyna, Stanisław Harkot. Students from the Secondary School of Fine Arts in Zamość took care of it. The ribbon in the figure of the insect was symbolically cut by the mayor of the city, Marian Mazur.

When someone is passing by, you can drive up and see. Especially not worth it. The old wooden sculpture by a small stream does not make a great impression.

The monument stands close to the street, and according to the local, it is the correct beetle, not the one in the square.

A monument and ... That's it. Meeting place for locals. Nevertheless, being in the area I could not refuse to visit this "legendary" Chrząszcz.
