I put on a motorcycle that needed a carburetor service. Upon picking up the motorcycle from service, I was informed that one of the four carburetors had an adjusting screw broken and threaded crooked, but it was done. The bike still had trouble burning per cylinder as reported, but was dismissed that the carburetors are 100% correct and the electrics are probably to blame. I put the motorcycle to another mechanic and it turned out that the adjusting screw was missing, the thread was not corrected, and the carburetors themselves, instead of being put together on the gaskets, were stuck with ordinary silicone, which dissolving in gasoline could clog all nozzles in the carburetor, leading to permanent damage to the complete carburetor.
