My first accommodation in Tykocin. Before I settled down for good in the town myself, I had made many stops at the Black Stork. A guesthouse on a quiet street, simply furnished rooms, without any luxuries, but with a wonderful view of the Narew. A few minutes walk to Plac Czarnecki, the heart of Tykocin with restaurants, shops, an ice cream parlor and a pierogi. Wonderful hosts, a native of the city of Łódź, but for several decades deeply rooted in the landscape of this wonderful town. What more could you want? When there are no places in my Tykocin house, I always recommend the friendly and welcoming Dom Pod Czarnym Stocianem.

Fairly low standard. And the price is definitely too high for the conditions. I would not choose this place, but just before coming to Tykocin, I canceled my reservation elsewhere.
