The fountain statue located in the market square commemorates the 700th anniversary of the creation of Nowogrodziec. Graniec by Jerzy Buchwald. The potter's son created this from clay extracted in the area. High at nearly 3.5 meters and a volume of 8700 liters, it is a beautiful decoration of the renovated market.

The pot does not at all resemble the famous from before the war for which Nowogrodziec was known. The current tredes in the projects even encourage closer contact with small architecture, and the idea of ​​a fountain fence rusting steel could pass 20-30 years ago.
