The most important construction of the park, is the Roman style temple, which by its location, on the shore of the lake, acquires a romantic note. Exit to the lake is guarded by two lions of stone that create a sense of security in this space.

Small building but nice

Erected in 1783 by Szymon Bogumił Zug, a building with classical proportions. On the west side it was decorated with an openwork portico supported by four Ionic columns and the same semicircular portico on the east side. Under the tympanum, from the side of the pond, the words of Francesco Petrarch from the sonnet In morte di Madonna Laura: DOVE PACE TRAVAI D'OGNI MIA GUERRA (Here I found peace after each fight). The interior of the Temple of Diana houses the Vestibule, the Etruscan Cabinet, the oval Bedroom and the representative hall known as the Pantheon. The pantheon is decorated with stucco columns and decorative cornices, and a plafond depicting Dawn, painted by Jan Piotr Norblin. The creators of the plafond in the Etruscan Cabinet, from around 1800, with a scene depicting Cupid and Psyche, and wall decorations with motifs of Etruscan vessels were Michał Płoński and Aleksander Orłowski, who collaborated with Norblin. The decorative stucco was made by Johann Graff.

The most interesting building in the Arcadian Park. This is one of the duchess' first ideas - stylized as an ancient building, it houses several rooms, the largest of which was decorated with a beautiful painting by Jan Piotr Norblin. Other paintings in the temple were made by Michał Płoński and Aleksander Orłowski. After the renovation, the temple looks great.
