The altar of the High Priest is built of brick and stone masonry of many colors and sizes. It is a handicraft building with many vaults, and the current ruins suggest that this construction was created with much imagination.
The Sanctuary of the Archpriest (Łazienki) is a rectangular, two-storey building made of stone, brick and bog iron, with many elements from the castle in Łowicz. The lapidary elements come from the collegiate church in Łowicz. A small turret with a dovecote dominates the building. In the eastern wall there is a blind arcade with columns, between which you can see a relief by G. Stagi - Hope feeding the Chimera. Below, there were two gargoyles in the shape of lion heads, from which water was draining into the pool with the mascaron. Along the south-eastern façade of the Tabernacle, there is a wall - a fence with Hermes. There is a small cafe in the building. I recommend delicious coffee.
Built around 1783 in the form of an artificial ruin, built of brick, turf ore and fragments of architectural details and ancient, Gothic and Renaissance sculptures, among others herm, mascarons and rosettes by Jan Michałowicz from Urzędów. Renaissance sculptures come mainly from the chapel of Saint. Transformed at that time. Victoria in the collegiate Łowicz.
From the north-east side there is a niche with a bas-relief Hope feeding the Chimaer Gioacchina Staggi and with a stone aquarium decorated with two mascarons. The building has an open arcade patio. In the north-west corner there is a tower equipped with a viewing platform. Along the south-west facade there was a wall - today rebuilt - with Hermami. The authorship of the building, erected according to the instructions of Princess Helena Radziwiłł, is attributed to Szymon Bogumił Zug. This is one of the original garden pavilions that were created in Poland at the end of the 18th century.
Beautiful building, must-see place
