On the north-eastern horns of Skrzatusza, next to the aged, cobbled, cobblestone street of Potter Street, there is a relic of a cemetery, probably a Catholic community of the village. Unfortunately, the place has not been included in the register, because it is also difficult to see a monument in a small square, almost a half hectare square of wild greenery! The borders of the necropolis for now are legible, because they are marked by a crumbling wall of field stones joined with a strong mortar one day. In a regular quadrilateral available only outside the vegetative period of self-seeding, only a few readable tombstones remained, although some of them probably rest under a shallow layer of soil. Preserved inscriptions containing names and dates are so clear that you can talk about specific people who found eternal rest here. Interestingly, the artifacts are modest, stone epitaphs left on probably as humble burials. Simple forms of commemoration are reminiscent of Jewish cemeteries. Perhaps it is the oldest existing cemetery in the village, although it is difficult for an amateur to draw such conclusions based only on superficial premises.
