The cemetery of the former German inhabitants of Krummfließ was part of the space occupied by the church. The practice commonly used also to the present times were burials in church cemeteries located in the immediate vicinity of the temple. Along with the progressing urban and spatial changes in the developing towns, also for sanitary reasons, church necropoles were closed without sacrificing the places of the sanctified memory of the deceased. Hence their presence is not questionable, especially in rural assumptions. Unfortunately, after the Second World War, especially on the so-called The West and Regained Territories allowed the absolute elimination of abandoned and wild cemeteries. In the majesty of regulations, local government warlords issued decisions as much anchored in the cruel system as morally reprehensible and harmful historically, socially and emotionally. Unfortunately, wise people with a candle to look for and those most often protected the local identity. Pokrzywnica won a happy fate in all this misfortune, because the cemetery of the former German community disappeared, but the legible boundaries remained, stamped with a suitable monument. Thus, the imperative of eternal remembrance for the dead was realized, who should never be expelled from the memory of the living!
