A place of its kind, here you feel the "Spirit" of our SUPREME, beautifully located convent of the Salesians (Cistercian) and a young guide with great knowledge !, only 15 km from Pyzdry, I recommend, also, and maybe above all, to unbelievers! 😇😇 😇

In Ląd on the Warta River in the Greater Poland Voivodeship, not far to the west of Konin, there is a former Cistercian monastery, which the monks with the consent of Mieszko the Old founded here in 1145. Thus, the abbey is considered one of the oldest Cistercian abbeys in Poland after the Abbey of Łekno. Today the former Cistercian monastery hides the Higher Theological Seminary of the Salesian Society. In 2009, the whole beautiful and valuable monastery complex was considered a historical monument. The complex lies on the Cistercian Route and the Piast Trail.
