An old, almost forgotten cemetery of former residents of the Kottenhammer village (now Kuźniczka, Wielń commune). Until recently, its boundaries were marked by concrete fence posts, and today (2019) are readable mainly thanks to the forest access road leading from DW 177 to the village. Visible destructions of numerous gravestones mark the western and eastern ends of the necropolis enclosed in the ring of surrounding forests. Tombs with the names of the dead have survived on the few tombstones, while the rest remain anonymous. The degree and extent of devastation indicate human 'help', because most have been robbed of metal elements, while others are dying broken and displaced by waves of subsequent barbarians. The deceased were deprived of guardians in the persons of their families or friends. Post-war changes were not kind to them and this state continues to this day. However, these are the ashes and tombstones of our predecessors, whose homes and role were occupied by subsequent residents. Even if this is the reason why you should remember and respect this place. The only one who has the privilege of erasing these traces should be time, not the primitive effect of troglodytes.
