The hill on the southern edge of Roztocze is made of hard reef limestone. Its characteristic top covered with a clump of forest is one of the most important landmarks in the views of this part of Roztocze Gorajskiego, visible from many surrounding hills. From the Gorajca Valley, the hill is quite elevated and offers beautiful, almost mountain views, while from the south it slopes down a gentle slope towards Pulczynowa. As the name suggests, there are excavations of old quarries on the hill. On the southern slope of Broken Mountain there is the blue cycling trail Jastrzębia Zdebrz
