A monument dedicated to priest Stanisław Staszic. It was built in 1910 as a votive offering thanking the creation of the village, which took place at the turn of 1908 - 1909, when the Economic Council of the Hrubieszów Agricultural Society bought land from the grounds of the Drohiczany court. The society divided the purchased land into plots of 25 morga. Hosts from the associated villages of the Society were accepted to settle. The plots were repaid with grain - 10 quintals of rye per year. The village took the name "Staszic" in honor of the founder and first chairman of the Agricultural Society, priest Stanisław Staszic. The monument, after reconstruction in 2011, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the village, has been thoroughly rebuilt and changed its appearance in relation to its original form.
