Hello. I used to be here often. But in my young years it was definitely quieter and more peaceful here. Now, in high season, and especially at weekends, it is noisy and hard to park. The lake is really lovely and has very different beaches. The water is fairly clean. The center itself is bustling with life until late at night, but outside of it you can find quiet places to rest and swim. There are many equipment rentals, not only water equipment. For anglers, I recommend Glinki or the holy lake. You can find peace there and go fishing. You can go for a bike walk to Sobibór, pick blueberries or visit the German extermination camp from World War II about which the film "Escape from Sobibór" was made. If the weather is not good for sunbathing, you can go to Romanów and visit the former property of Ignacy Kraszewski, our bard. It is well maintained and has a nice park all around. There is a museum inside. On the way, in Różanka, only 8 km from Włodawa, there are, unfortunately, only the ruins of a former estate, beautifully situated on the banks of the Bug. We can easily get here by bike, there is a path here. There are still some nice places to see but this, next time. Best regards and have a nice rest.

I was there for the first time, but I will definitely go back there. The water is very clean. A great place for those who like to relax by the lake. However, if someone is looking for peace and quiet, this place is not for him. In the summer season Okuninka is visited by crowds of people. During the day it is sometimes difficult to find a place on the beach, and at night the sounds of discos can be heard throughout the village. There are quite a few places to eat and eat, so you can choose, but accommodation is rather in advance. Someone could complain that the beach itself is not a beach because there is little sand. In most of the surroundings the lake is covered with grass, but this is not really a minus here. Overall, a place worth recommending.

For a good rest in silence it is out of season. The only drawback is that shops and bars are closed.

An ordinary lake and the crowds are amazing, a marketplace, a not very clean beach and an amusement park mixed in with one another with lots of cafe bars, pizzeria kebabownia Drogo and not very nice
