Austrian war cemetery from the First World War. In nine mass graves and 32 individual graves, 34 Austrian soldiers from the 14th, 59th, 81st and 82nd infantry regiments, the 2nd Tyrolean Rifle Regiment and the 15th Field Cannons Regiment, and 29 Russian soldiers were buried there. They died on December 18, 1914 and May 9, 1915. The cemetery was designed by Siegfried Heller. A commemorative plaque in German was placed on the central monument with the following text: NAHT SICH DROHEND DER FEIND WIEDER DEN HEILIGEN GRENZEN. LERNET, ENKEL, VON UNS JAUCHZENDER OPFERUNG PFLICHT. What does it mean in Polish: When the holy borders are threatened by the enemy. Learn from us, free grandsons, selfless duty.

War Cemetery No. 173 in Pleśna - historic cemetery from World War I. Designed by Siegfried Heller. The central monument is the chapel, which is, however, outside the fence. An inscription plate was placed on it saying: "Learn from us the playful grandsons of sacrificial duty, when the threat of the enemy hangs over the borders of the holy homeland." In nine mass graves and 32 individual graves, 34 Austro-Hungarian soldiers and 29 Russian soldiers were buried here.
