The cemeteries themselves are tidy and without rubbish, although there are bottles of alcohol. The obelisk commemorating the fallen is impressive with its size. Unfortunately, the reconstructed trenches have fallen into disrepair and now look like a reconstructed battlefield. It is worth taking a walk in the forest behind the Russian soldiers' cemetery, where you can see traces of fights from over a hundred years ago in the ground.
A beautiful souvenir from the tragic May of 1915, when Operation Gorlicko Tarnowska brought death to hundreds of thousands of people. It also brought liberation of these areas from tsarist troops and, as a consequence, the independence of Poland. The building, basically three buildings, because there is still a cemetery of Russian soldiers and a monument / obelisk founded from the private casket of His Majesty Franciszek Józef!
A hidden cemetery among trees and houses, but well-kept and clean, which makes us very happy. A huge monument and interesting trenches. It is worth stopping for a moment.
