Pearl overgrown with bushes. The host of this place probably planted it on purpose - despite the fact that in this place, apart from the fallen soldiers from World War I, the Chrząstowski Family is buried. They were benefactors who owned Szczepanowice from 1489. They strongly contributed to the education of the local community, took an active part in the uprising of national mines in the January Uprising - but on February 19, 1846, they fell victim to the Galician raid.
Charmingly located, although tiny and partly forgotten. There are also no markings from the road. The quarters contain remains of the fallen in 1914/1915, but mainly those who died during the Gorlice-Tarnow Operation. well-kept area (at least in spring), no rubbish, burned candles and old bunches. A very interesting place for tourists and hikers and cyclists.
War Cemetery No. 197 in Szczepanowice - a historic cemetery from the First World War. Designed by Heinrich Scholz. In four mass graves and 28 individual ones, 14 Austro-Hungarian soldiers and 18 Russian soldiers were buried here. On the side walls of the central monument, the names of the dead were engraved.
