Center of Bielsko Podlaski. A house with a film history not used for tourism, unfortunately. An ugly banner disfigures the beautiful balustrade ... And such a beautiful story ... It's a pity!

The late-baroque town hall from the end of the 18th century, probably on the site of the old 15th-century one, funded by Izabela Branicka with the participation of the townspeople. It was rebuilt three times: in the first half of the 19th century, around 1920 and in 1942. It has a hipped roof, chamfered over cut corners, is covered with S-shape tiles and topped with a small square clock tower, covered with an obelisk tin cupola. On its top there is a tin form in the shape of an insect with the date 1779. The Bielsko Town Hall is one of the most beautiful late-baroque town halls in Poland. Currently the seat of the Museum.

The late Baroque town hall, whose construction began in 1776 and was completed at the beginning of 1780. The founder was Izabela Branicka, the designer was the court architect of the Branicki family, Jan Sękowski. The building was rebuilt several times, now it has regained its original external form and layout. During the Kościuszko Uprising, the Order Commission was employed here. In the nineteenth century, it housed here: the municipality, district court, Prussian police station and several shops. In the 20th century, the building hosted: shops, the Municipal National Council, the Registry Office, the Notary Office and the Public Library. In 1984, a branch of the Podlasie Museum was opened here, which still functions today. At the top of the clock tower there is an image carved out of a sheet of metal with the date 1779 - a souvenir of the locust plague.
