I remember when the bridge was painted pink. It used to be a sensation, then the topic died down, and now maybe it would be useful to promote the pink construction again to support tolerance? However, this type of color and name are original.

The road bridge in Głogów is the only crossing of the Odra River, in a place where there is no other bridge several dozen kilometers away. Traveling over this bridge, which is located along the national road No. 12, is sometimes troublesome. The first steel bridge on this site was built in 1916. During the war in 1945, it was destroyed, like all the bridges on the Odra River. It was put into use again in the fall of 1955, then it was repainted (1996-97) and named "Pink". It is 139.5 meters long and 12 meters wide. A bridge like a bridge - fulfills its function. Subjectively, I think that it is one of the biggest attractions of Głogów and it's nice that it represents such an important value.
